This is a late term fetus

George Tiller.

I hesitate with what I should put next.
As far as I am concerned, the only real way to have a discussion about this man, and this unfortunate event, is to acknowledge his actions.  To deem this man a martyr, doesn't change the fact that his actions precipitated this.
What I find puzzling is that although the country is actively engaged in this discourse, nobody wants to truly acknowledge his actions.
When I try to even broach the issue of late-term abortions, or the fact that Tiller, in fact was terminating viable fetuses, I am met with the same response.
Fingers in the ears "la la la la la- I don't want to hear it, I don't want to hear it!"

The catastrophic event here is that Tiller performed over 60,000 late-term abortions.

Fetuses that were aborted were viable, which means they could have lived outside the womb without medical intervention. This is an inarguable fact.

Stick your fingers in your ears all you want, say a woman has the right to chose till your blue in the face, it doesn't change the fact that innocent lives were taken.

I think it is an individuals right to chose whether they are pro-choice or not.
But keep in mind, along with our inalienable rights, comes responsibility.

If you support something then really know what it is you are supporting.
Regardless of the gory truth.

Tiller knew what he was doing- he chose to stick large needles into the heads of unborn fetuses, inject them with saline and extract them from their mothers wombs.

He lived, and he died in his convictions.

Right or wrong- to know it is to own it.

  1. How can it be that late-term abortion is legal based on the idea that the fetus isn't a considered "life", but if the the mother were murdured and the fetus dies the perpitrator can be charged with two murders?
Isn't the legal system classifying the unborn fetus as life? If so, how can the medical community not come to the same conclusion?
