"When America strays from it's values," did he really say that?

Fun Fact: This guy standing on the American flag is William Ayers. He hosted Obama's political coming-out party, at his home in Hyde Park Illinois, when Obama ran for state Senate. He was also a major contributer to the Presidential campaign.

Is he serious with this? 

"When America strays from our values, it not only undermines the rule of law, it alienates us from our allies, it energizes our adversaries and it endangers our national security and the lives of our troops."

What is he referring to, his administration? They are the only ones straying from American values as far as I can tell.

"As long as I am your commander-in-chief, I will only send you into harm's way when it is absolutely necessary."

Well that, I am sure, made the 30,000 graduating navy cadets and their families rest easy. 

Personally, I would love nothing more than for our government to work on getting things like health care, education and energy independence squared away, that would be ideal. 

If they can save the planet while they are doing it, more (limited) power to them. 

What I want my Commander and Thief to concentrate on is our countries National Security and keeping each and every American safe.

Which, I seem to need to remind you Mr. President, includes those brave men and women over seas fighting for these very liberties.

What I don't want is a President that makes a bunch of empty promises, talks out of both sides of his mouth and flip flops on key issues- all while demoralizing our military and CIA and bowing down to foreign leaders. 

Why is he constantly apologizing for America? Can someone- or better yet, can he please explain this to me?

Maybe, just maybe, if someone would have held this guys feet to the fire (instead of washing them) during the campaign, we would have some answers. 

Or maybe we should just ask his good friend, and campaign contributer, William Ayers, that jerk, in the photo, standing on the American flag. 

(FYI- My sources tell me that Ayers and Obama's "Spiritual Advisor", Jeremiah Wright, have been seen together lately-I don't even want to entertain the ramifications that could have. Then again- at least with Wright we got some transparency into Obama)

Background: William Ayers was a member of the Weather Underground, a radical leftist group that from 1969 to the mid-'70s conducted several bombings of government institutions. Ayers served on the group's Central Committee. The Weather Underground bombed the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, military installations, and police stations. In all, seven people were killed. In 1981, two police officers and one security guard were killed by members of the Weather Underground in the robbery of a Brinks truck in New York state. After Ayers married Bernardine Dohrn, also a member of the Weather Underground (who was described by FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover as "the most dangerous woman in America"), they settled in Chicago.
