Greg Gutfeld hosts "Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld" weekdays at 3 a.m.

I am a huge fan of FOX's Red Eye. I think Greg Gutfeld, Bill Shulz and Andy Levy, are the future of political news. They are outspoken, and outageous, but all while being extremely fair and balanced.
For anyone who is a fan of Bill Maher (gag me), Jon Stewart (Eh), or Steven Colbert (the best of the bunch, but still a suck hard, if you ask me- which I know you didn't- but this is my 2 cents), do yourself a tremendous favor and tune into these guys.
They are light years ahead of the rest.

Their guests, on any given night, could be Tucker Carlson- Duff Mckagan, former bassist from Guns & Roses, Father Jonathan Morris, who answers viewers questions, (such as, my personal favorite, "if someone hasn't been to confession in, like 30 years, and has done a lot of bad things, what kind of penance are they looking at?"), and the ever provocative Ann Coulter.

Tune in the very next night and they may have comedian Jim Norris, the guys from Creed, and ex-CIA agent Mike Baker. Most of the time there is always a hot, young Fox correspondent/blogger to round out the panel. (Watch for Anna David, or S.E. Cupp and check out Anna David's new book "Bought", it's a great summer chic-lit, beach read).
Expect regular appearances from Pinch- the talking NY Times, Unicorn Jones and Fluffy Mc Nutter, as well as Dr. Michael Baden, the shows "death correspondent".

In a world where there is so much sham and drudgery, it's just nice to be able to tune into a show that covers the days hot topics without taking themselves to seriously. They have a unique way of making fun of themselves, enlightening, and engendering, all while transporting the viewer to a world of farcical logic.

I'm hooked-  Red Eye airs on Fox at 3am. I highly recommend the DVR or Tivo.
