The greatest Black entertainer ever- hands down!

Listen up, THIS MAN was the greatest Black - American entertainer, of our time.

This man bridged the gap between blacks and whites by being personally involved with the civil rights movement.
(And let's not forget the gap he bridged between Christian's and Jew's)

This man served in World War II, and although was a Democrat switched his affiliation to support Republicans when JFK dis-invited him to an inaugural dinner because he married Swedish actress May Britt. This man didn't sell out.

This man sang, danced, acted, did impressions, played several musical instruments, and told jokes. This man starred on Broadway.

This man didn't violate moral codes with children in exchange for money.

This man embraced his black heritage and his culture.

This man was honorable human being, a patriotic American, an amazing talent and a pioneer in the field of entertainment.

When men like this get shadowed by men like Michael Jackson, in the words of the late, great Bernie Mack, "Shit aint right America".

I got your back Sammy.
